OPAM pump heads are always controlled and monitored using the OSP controller, which can handle 1-4 pump heads. The controller and liquid/gas handling pump heads are separate units and are connected with a cable. OPAM Syringe Pumps can safely pump practically all chemical liquids used in laboratories, because syringes and all wetted materials are glass, PTFE, PFA or PEEK. No leakage will be obtained due to gas tight inert syringes, tubes and valve fittings. All tubes can be fitted tightly by fingers and no additional tools are needed.

Stepwise purchasing of OPAM Syringe Pump : The price of a basic OPAM Syringe Pump is similar with other traditional syringe pumps. OPAM Syringe Pump can grow up with your new needs, however, because pump heads are separate from the OSP controller. If you buy first the basic single shot pump, but need later to pumpc continuously, the only a continuous flow pump head should be bought. Later in the next project you may need to pump two liquids continuosly, and also this time you only purchase a new continuous flow pump head. In other words, all electronics and software is assembled in the OSP controller and different pump heads and additional valves can be simply pluged in the rear panel of the controller.
