OPAM Reagent Pump has been designed to replace dropping funnels in synthetic chemistry. It can also be used for many other purposes, where rather slow liquid transfer is needed in a laboratory.
Reagent Pump is a solenoid driven pulsating pump and the pumping speed is changed by adjusting the pulse repetition time. It keeps the flow rate constant as adjusted. The pump is self-priming. The wetted surfaces are made of teflon and its derivatives and therefore the pump can be used for practically all liquids used in a chemical laboratory. Cleaning is carried out simply by pumping solvent or other cleaning agent through the tubes. External control can be achieved simply by cutting off- and on 12 V power supply. This can be made for example with OSP controller Output controls. Pumping speed: Range 1. 0,2....3 ml/min Range 2. 3....15 ml/min.
